Can this tie-dye knit beanie be machine washed?

Hand washing in cold water is recommended. Air dry after washing to help protect the knit shape and reduce fading or shrinkage.

Can it cover the ears?

Yes. The stretch knit and fold-over cuff allow the beanie to sit lower when needed, depending on head size and how the cuff is worn.
